A new VH1 reality dating show based around that powerful personality, Daisy, from Rock of Love 2!  She’s looking for love and this site is meant to help her find it…and you!

HOW DOES THE CASTING WORK?
-Sign up and create your casting profile.
-Submit your own videos, photos and blog. 
-Convince people to vote for you.

The casting consists of three Rounds, and the person who makes it to the final round, receives the most votes, and fulfills all eligibility requirements gets to compete for Daisy’s love!

WHAT ARE THE ROUND BY ROUND REQUIREMENTS?

Overview

Contestants in the “Daisy of Love” online casting audition will be required to upload a mixture of videos, photos and short essays about themselves to convince the public to vote them onto the show.  The online audition will be divided into three rounds:

Round 1 – The Come On (October 3 – November 14)

Round 2 – The Second Date (November 15 – December 5)

Round 3 – Sealing the Deal (December 6 – December 12)

Round Details

Round 1 – The Come On

10/3 – 11/14

Open call, all submissions accepted until the end of the day on 11/14.

80% remain after first round, based on votes from site users. 

• Upload at least 1 video which covers the following:
• A bit about yourself.  Who are you?  Name, age, occupation, hometown, etc.
• Tell Daisy why you think you’d be an ideal match for her
• The first time you saw Daisy, what about her was most striking? 
• Profile Requirements:
• Upload at least 3 photos of yourself (one must be a clear headshot).
• Write at least 1 blog entry detailing your best and most attractive qualities. 

Round 2 – The Second Date

11/15 – 12/5

10 users remain after second round.  5 of these will be the top vote getters based on overall vote count, the other 5 ‘wild cards’ will be selected individually by the Producers regardless of vote count…so it’s still anyone’s game!

• Upload at least 1 new video which describes the circumstances surrounding your most recent break up.  What happened?  How did you deal with it?  Show your sensitive side!
• Write at least 1 blog entry listing 3 things you love and 3 things you loathe about the opposite sex and why. 

Round 3 – Sealing the Deal

12/6 – 12/12

The number one top vote getter from Final 10 (who meets eligibility requirements) will get a spot on the show

• Upload at least 1 new video introducing a loved one to Daisy and the Daisy of Love community.  This can be a family member, a close friend, or even a pet!   Explain how you met (or how you’re related) and why they’re so important to you.
• Write at least one blog entry where you’ll make your final plea for votes from the community!  Restate your case….why would Daisy want you?  Why would you be compelling to watch compete?  Explain why you deserve the public’s vote!

CAN I BE CAST?
Of course! - Anyone who registers and creates a casting profile has a chance to land a spot in the house – as long as you fulfill all eligibility requirements. Create your profile, follow the casting guidelines, and get every person you know (and every person they know) to vote for you.

HOW DO I GET A SPOT IN THE HOUSE?
That part's simple. You land the spot by moving through each round of casting and then getting the most votes.

HOW DO I ADD SOMEONE TO 'MY IDEAL DAISY OF LOVE HOUSE’?
Once you've logged in to your account, find the user whom you would like to add, click on their profile and then click on the "add {username} to my Ideal Daisy of love House" link. 

HOW DO I ADD SOMEONE TO MY 'OTHERS I LIKE' LIST?
Once you've logged in to your account, find the user whom you would like to add, click on their profile and then click on the "save me to your 'Others I Like'" button.  Couldn't be easier!

WHAT KIND OF VIDEO OF ME ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
You're a strong personality that can hold your own in the house - so show us!  Each Round asks for a different style of video, so get the specifics.  But overall, show us who you are, what you're all about, why you're so extraordinary, and why the heck you deserve our vote.

HOW LONG CAN MY VIDEO SUBMISSIONS BE?
Not longer than 2 minutes, please!  And make it interesting. Remember, America has a lot of videos to watch.

CAN I UPLOAD MORE VIDEOS THAN ARE REQUIRED?
Yes!  Once you've met your submission requirements, you can upload up to 5 videos per round.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I NEED TO POST?
You must post at least three photos of yourself to be considered, one of which must be a headshot (that would be a photo of your face.)  The others can be of you in any pose or setting. And remember, we only want to see you, not you and your 13 friends. 

CAN I POST ADDITIONAL PHOTOS?
Absolutely, post away.  But keep in mind, you should only post the best of the best.  You're trying to get votes, not chase us away!

WHAT IF I DON'T FOLLOW THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES?
Get real, you know what happens.  Unfortunately, if you don't follow the casting guidelines your profile will be shown the door and you will be disqualified. So be sure to READ!

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO POST THE REQUIRED SUBMISSION CONTENT UP?
It's different for each Round:

Round 1 – The Come On (October 3 – November 14)

Round 2 – The Second Date (November 14 – December 5)

Round 3 – Sealing the Deal (December 5 – December 12)

Remember, the quicker you post your stuff, the more incentive viewers have to vote for you!

MY VIDEO'S UP, BUT I DON'T LIKE IT.  CAN I TAKE IT DOWN?
Only the site administrator can remove a video posting - so think before you post!  To remove a video, click here to send us the request.

CAN I EDIT MY PROFILE?
Once you've logged in to your account, just click on ‘edit profile' to change personal account information (address, phone, tags, password).  But remember, you can't change your username. So choose wisely and spell correctly!

I UPLOADED MY VIDEO, BUT IT'S NOT ON MY PROFILE.
It can take up to 24 hours for your video to be encoded and checked by our video patrol before it can be posted to your account.  Also our site administrator must review and approve.  So follow the guidelines because it speeds up the process!

HOW MUCH DOES VIDEO QUALITY MATTER?
You're trying to get votes, so it matters!  Take the time to make your video look as good and professional as possible.  Pay attention to the simple stuff - make sure you can be seen and heard clearly.

WHEN DO I FIND OUT IF I'VE MADE IT THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND?
At the end of each round we'll contact the users who have the most votes via email and move them on to the next round.  You'll also be reminded of each round’s unique requirements.

From the homepage, just click on the icon below a profile image.  If you're viewing a profile, look for the ‘vote for me' tab on the right-hand side of the page. Vote away!

AM I REALLY VOTING TO CHOOSE A CAST MEMBER FOR DAISY OF LOVE?
What else do you think you're voting for? Yes, you are voting to help decide who the castmate will be.  So get votin’!

From the homepage, go to the ‘Who's Winning' category for a listing of the profiles with the highest number of votes. 

WHAT IF I'M TOO LATE FOR ROUND 1 OPEN REGISTRATION?
No worries.  Round 2 will continue to be open for new entries but remember, votes will accumulate all 3 rounds. The later you enter, the quicker you’ll need to amass votes so get going! For more info check out the official competition guidelines.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A SPOT ON THE CAST AND JUST WANT TO SURF THE SITE?
Go for it.  This site is a community of die-hard Daisy fans like yourself.  Sign up, hang out, create a profile, vote, blog with your friends.  You do not have to be part of the casting process to have fun on this site. But the more fun you have and the more active on the site you are, the more you'll be rewarded…

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO USE THE SITE?  AND HOW OLD TO GET CAST?
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the site, and must be at least 21 to be cast on the show.
